HCR 275 was not taken up in the Senate and died in committee.

UPDATE TO URGENT ACTION ALERT (A NATIONAL THREAT) July 2002:

SPC goes to DC and according to the offices of several members of the Congress, contact from constituents strongly opposing House Concurrent Resolution 275 has been very high.

Your voice is being heard - together with many others - and is making a real difference. To date, H.Con. Res. 275 has not hit the Senate floor for voice vote and has not moved out of committee.

Contact from voters is still important! If you haven't yet, it's not too late...THANK YOU to all who are making a difference!
